About me

I am a graduate student advised by Alison Feder in the Department of Genome Sciences at University of Washington. I completed my MPH in Epidemiology with Sara Lindström at University of Washington. Before I join UW, I worked as an applications programmer with Trey Ideker at UC San Diego School of Medicine. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics from UC San Diego in 2018. During my undergraduate studies, I was a research assistant in Ideker Lab and a lab technician in Computational Neurobiology Lab at Salk Institute.

I currently study the spatial evolutionary dynamics of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the cystic fibrosis lung through CFTR modulator therapy. More broadly, I am interested in the intersection of computational methods and genomics, with a focus on understanding the dynamics of evolving biological systems and their implications for population health.
